Research lines

Our research is aimed at studying the surface coordination chemistry of metallic (Au, Ag, Pd, Pt), semiconductor (CdTe, CdSe, Fe3O4, TiO2), and two-dimensional materials (graphene, phosphorene, MoS2) for applications in catalysts, photocatalyst, and sensors. Incorporating supramolecular, inorganic, and material chemistry strategies, nanomaterials with controlled characteristics combined with appropriate transition metal molecules and/or complexes are the basis for the generation of organized structures with functionalities.

Within the group, three main lines of research stand out:

Synthesis of Nanomaterials
Surface
Chemistry
Sensores &
